The Social Enterprise Project
 
The International Labour Organization (ILO) has partnered with Supply Chain Network (SCNet) to pilot an online tender platform for social enterprises and high-impact enterprises during 2016/2017. The platform will open up many business opportunities, as well as provide linkages to support and finance. This project is funded by the Government of Flanders.

SCNet will provide the online tender platform and help link social enterprises and high-impact enterprises with business opportunities. It notifies its ±50,000 suppliers of over 6,000 opportunities to tender or quote for work in the public and private sectors every month. Furthermore, every month its 6,000+ registered buyers conduct ±10,000 database searches for registered suppliers. Many buyers also imported these suppliers into their own supply chains.

Please complete the application form if you believe that your organization qualifies as a social enterprise or high-impact enterprise. In other words, if your organization has a social or environmental purpose that is central to its mission.

Successful applicants will receive a sponsored Premium Subscription to SCNet for a 9-month period. This will unlock access to a Tender Bulletin Service covering private and public tenders, enable suppliers to search for your organization, connect you with business support and finance opportunities. SCNet will also be running a campaign to encourage its 6,000 registered buyers to procure from social and high-impact enterprises.
